One year ago Clique Productions released our very first, commercially available WHMCS addon module, the Employee Time Clock. The Employee Time Clock was an overnight success with over 150 licenses sold within 24 hours of the first release. The first release included everything that was needed for basic time clock functionality and payroll reporting. We felt that we could pack even more functionality into our tiny and lightweight module, so we set out on a mission. Last month, we reached out to many of the Employee Time Clock users and asked what functionality would they like to see included in the new release.
We received thousands of submissions and narrowed down the features that we felt were an absolute necessity to integrated. For those of you who's ideas were included in the second version of the Employee Time Clock, we have issued your account a credit for three free months of the Employee Time Clock. For those of you who submitted we issued you a credit of one free month, just to show our appreciation. We'd also like to thank every user of the Employee Time Clock system and just let you know that we have already committed to building version 3.0 while maintaining version 2.0 with updates. If you have any ideas that you would like to see in the Employee Time Clock V3.0, or if you have an idea for a custom WHMCS module, be sure to send a support ticket to our General Inquires department, and we'll let you know if your request will make it to version 3.0.
